Why join p2people?
p2people is the innovative micro outsourcing service that makes it easy for you to outsource your jobs or freelance your services. You can find a complete list of our benefits for both job and service providers under “How p2people helps you” in our How It Works page. But benefits include free membership, and free and unlimited job ads.
How can I join p2people?
You can join as a job provider (someone looking to outsource their jobs), service provider (someone looking to freelance their services) or both. To get started, simply click Join Now on our homepage.
What membership plans are there?
There’s the free Lite plan and two paid plans - Pro and Biz - both for job and service providers.
How long does a free Lite plan last?
A free Lite plan does not expire and lasts until you close your account.
Why pay for membership?
You don’t have to. You can get started straight away with the free Lite plan. But you might want to keep your jobs private allowing only invited service providers to bid, or allow others to use your plan as Associates, or have your jobs or services appear in Search listings before those of Lite members, or chat to service providers before inviting them to bid on your jobs. Paid plans offer additional flexibility to help you do these things and more.

How long does paid membership last?
Paid membership lasts for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
What happens after paid membership ends?
After paid membership ends, membership reverts to the free Lite plan. However, you can upgrade membership from Lite at anytime.
What is an Associate member?
A user invited to use your membership plan to advertise jobs or services.
How can I add an Associate?
If you’re a Biz member, you can use the “Add Associate” link under your plan in “Account Settings” to add up to 3 Associates. “Account Settings” is on the “My Account” page.
When are my jobs as a paying member listed?
Jobs of paying members are listed immediately.
When are my jobs as a Lite plan listed?
Jobs of Lite plan members are listed within 24 hours after being advertised.
How many jobs can I advertise?
All job provider plans allow you to advertise an unlimited number of jobs.
What is the Advanced Options feature?
Advanced Options are optional features you may include when advertising your job. Here you can:

What are private jobs?
Jobs you want only invited service providers to view and make a bid. These jobs do not appear under Search, Browse or Recently Advertised Jobs.
How can I make a job private?
When you advertise a job, if you have an Pro or Biz plan then under Advanced Options, you can select the Job Visibility option “Private (Allow only invited Providers to bid)”.
What is a confidentiality agreement?
You can request that service providers keep in confidence the information you disclose in your job. A confidentiality agreement (aka. a non-disclosure agreement) will do this for you.
If you make your job private, you can optionally upload your confidentiality agreement, which we will ask service providers to read and accept before viewing your job. You’ll need an Pro or Biz plan to use this option.
Can I indicate which countries can bid on my job?
Yes. Under Advanced Options, you can indicate the source of bids through the Bids Allowed From option. You’ll need an Pro or Biz plan to use this option.
What is a Milestone Plan?
A Milestone Plan allows both parties to understand the key stages (or milestones) in the job, and agree the anticipated delivery dates and the payments that should be made on the completion of the various milestones.
If you select this advanced option, the service provider can also use it to inform you of the progress of your job.
Can I advertise my jobs through job posting services such as jobg8 and idibu?
Yes. p2people seemlessly integrates with jobg8 and idibu allowing you to use their multi-posting job services to advertise your jobs.
Are jobs available on Twitter or Facebook?
Yes. You can view all of our jobs on Twitter. Just follow the p2people account for the job category of interest - read how here. We don’t have any jobs on Facebook yet, but we’re looking in to it!
When are my services as a paying member listed?
Services of paying members are listed immediately.
When are my services as a Lite member listed?
Services of Lite plan members are listed within 24 hours after being advertised.
How many services can I advertise?
Lite plan members can advertise 1 service. Paying members can advertise up to 3 (Pro) or 6 (Biz) services.
How many documents can I attach to my service?
Lite plan members can attach 1 document. Paying members can attach up to 5 (Pro) or 10 (Biz) documents.
How do I get an invite to bid on a job?
Your invite to bid will appear under “Job Invites”, which comes under “My Services”. You’ll need to access My Services through the “View Services” link. You’ll also receive an email notifying you of this invitation.
Why can’t I bid on my own job?
p2people believes in fair play. This isn’t playing fair and, in certain jurisdictions, may be unlawful. So it’s not allowed. Please see our acceptable use policy.
Why can’t I bid on a job with two different services?

How do I know that I’ve won a job?
The job will appear under “Won Jobs” and you’ll receive a confirmation email.
What payment methods do you accept?
We use PayPal to process payments. They accept all major credit and debit cards.
What is your refund policy?
Unfortunately, payments made to p2people are not refundable. This is stated in our terms and conditions.
Can I use a business name instead of my name?
Yes. Once you’ve setup your account, you can edit it to include your Biz (or business) name, which will then be used in place of your name.
Who can see my contact details?
Your location (country and city) is viewable by visitors and members (service and job providers). Email and phone details are viewable only by a job provider, if you’ve won their job by bidding on it.
What should I do if I’ve forgotten my password?
Click on the “Sign In” link on our homepage and then “Forgot Password?”. Then please follow the instructions for help.
How can I control the emails I receive?
Once signed in, under “Notifications” in the “My Account” page, you can set which emails you receive from us. If you’re both a job provider and a service provider, you can do this under both “View Jobs” and “View Services”.
Can I close my account?
Yes. Once signed in, click on “Close Account” under “Account Settings” in the “My Account” page. Note. This will permanently close your account and end your membership(s).
Why would my plan be suspended?
What should I do if my plan is suspended?
Suspension is for a fixed period of 5 days but you can use your plan normally after this period. So you do not need to do anything if your plan is suspended.
Why would my account be banned?
Banning occurs for a serious breach of our acceptable use policy. However, we do not wish to ban you so please consult our policy to prevent this from occurring.
What should I do if my account is banned?
Unfortunately, a ban is permanent and you’ll not be able to use p2people if this occurs.
