This role will develop, deploy, implement and administer technical support for a set of configuration management tools for the midrange, Intel and desktop environments.
Being part of the team, this a technical role which requires strong analytical and problem solving skills, commitment to customer focus, the ability to work independently and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
Provide technical support to owning and performing requests for service, implementing changes and resolving assigned problems
Maintain detailed knowledge of Team's managed toolset
Provide expert guidance to Project Managers and toolset implementers/
Perform research and development of new solutions as required
Provide capacity planning information
Report to incidents and requests for information
Required skill set:
Minimum of 3 years in ITIL
UNIX and Windows 2003 and 2008
Automation and Scripting Languages
Network protocols
TADDM and ITIC/CCMDB focus
You will also possess good networking skills with vendors and technical specialists and must be willing to work extra hours when required.
