We are seeking a Designer/Developer (User Interface) for a 5 month contract opportunity.

As a designer/developer, you will deliver a User Interface that achieves the client's business outcome, translate business requirements into a UI design and lead a User Interface developer

The skill level required for the candidate to be considered:

• Skills in User Interface (UI) Design and Java development
• Experience in User Interface Design, working with Business Analysts, Developers and Clients to translate business requirements into a UI design that achieves the client's business outcome while facilitating a straightforward implementation in the application and integration
• Must have very strong customer interaction and teaming skills and be able to lead a UI developer while working 'hands-on in UI development
• Applied knowledge of W3C and Usability Design are 'high" nice to have skills
• A good knowledge of best practices in design and design standards to facilitate working in an organisation without formal standards would be helpful
