A leading Telecommunications giant is seeking a User Experience Specialist UX to join their Sydney based team on a 6 Month Contract. 2X Positions available.

Essential skills and experience:

• Several years of professional user experience work related to high tech products and services, including IA, Interaction Design, user research visual design and deep knowledge of recognised usability standards and guidelines.
• Education in user research, design, HCI, usability or related disciplines (or the ability to display formal understanding of theory and practices)
• Demonstrated mastery user experience design principles and interaction design skills
• Solid understanding of the application of user research and testing to
• inform and validate design
• Candidate must have the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines in an organizationally agile working environment and must be able to work flexible hours and travel when necessary
• Technical skills that allow you to talk and understand capabilities and limitations of HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML is a plus
• Visual design skills a plus Experience conducting user testing highly desired
• Previous experience as a team leader is an advantage
